Since 1987 the International Youth Camp is a small taste of a perfect world, inhabited by young Europeans, who think that cultural diversity is a matter of fun and are ready to sacrifice any grammar, if needed to communicate and cooperate with the others in creating something they will never forget.
The International Youth Camp gathers 60 young Europeans and gets you in touch with a thousand more, ends after 16 days and lasts for years, unites all participants and promotes their differences, moves to another country every year and brings a bit of Europe to your backyard.
The program consists of cultural, sporting and multimedia workshops, additional activities, excursions – and a lot of party and fun in an international context and a friendly atmosphere.
Mutual respect is the basis of this social experience: respect towards the individual characteristics of everybody as well as respect towards other ways of living and other traditions.
We want to improve communication and cooperation between countries and people, to show the differences that separate us and the common ground that unites us. Together we want to make the exchange vivid and to build a peaceful future based on our common values.
this site has changed pretty much over the last few years. initially it was just meant to be a tool for participants of the camp. a little bit of a blackboard, a little bit of a photo-album, you know what i mean. facebook etc are doing this for us now...
we started to publish the address, though and use interyouca as our OFFICIAL website so it's now really a place where participants and parents go to get some information before the camp, or where officials get an impression what they are spending their money on.
this year now we spent some money to have it equipped with a content management system and so we are able to offer a download of the application form. should you want more information than what i offer on this page you can contact me or one of the other organizers.
